Director of Financial Aid

Thiel College is seeking an exceptional leader for the role of Director of Financial Aid.

The Director of Financial Aid will organize, administer, manage, and evaluate a comprehensive Financial Services Office in compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. Ensure exemplary service is provided to current and potential students and their families throughout the experience. Provide assistance and support to all other institutional departments in attaining the goals of the institution.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage daily operation of Financial Services Office and supervision of staff
• Administer financial aid programs, in accordance with federal and state regulations, college recruitment and retention policies, and other guidelines as required.
• Manage the process of reporting and receiving information with the Department of Education. National Student Loan Data Clearinghouse, and NCAA.
• Create and monitor departmental budgets and final reports
• Prepare financial aid packages for prospective and returning students.
• Supervise/monitor academic progress for student financial assistance.
• Update website with financial information updates on a rolling basis, including net price calculator.
• Monitor financial aid packaging matrix and leveraging results.
• Serve as an active participant on various College committees and task forces as assigned.
• Coordinate awarding and distribution of endowed scholarships.
• Coordinate student aid and payment arrangements for off-campus programs; AIP, PIMS, Study Abroad.
• Processing of tuition exchange benefits for employees and dependents, and liaison for TE and CIC Tuition Exchange programs.
