Colleague Schools Using PHEAAs Student Loan Notification Tool

Hello PASFAA members, I am looking for Colleague schools that are contracted through PHEAA and who are using PHEAA’s student loan notification tool. How are you extracting information for the PHEAA template? We have an SCHPR1 report from NSLDS and are trying to get it formatted in CSV format, but are having difficulties. Is there a different way to do this?

Hi,
I got these steps from a colleague to change the file to CSV. I found there was a header row I could not delete so I copied all of the other file data to a new report then added the PHEAA header.

1. Change this report from a text document to a CSV
a. Go to Data tab in Excel
b. Select From Text
c. Select the file (may need to pick “All files” if you do not see report)
d. Click import
e. Click delimited and click next
f. Click finished and ok
g. Add headers sent by PHEAA to spreadsheet
