Job Description:

Position is responsible for managing the Financial Aid for students enrolled in non-term degree programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Administer all federal, state and private financial aid programs. This includes Federal Direct Loans and Pell Grant.
Sends financial aid packets with cover letter to undergraduate and graduate students requesting information,
Handles adult students via conference calls and occasional workshops.
Updates all financial aid information on computer tracking system and digital asset management system.
Generates electronic financial aid files on each student; student returns filled out forms; starts electronic folder on student.
Sends completed, certified student files to the Associate Director of Financial Aid for disbursement.
Acts as liaison with the Department of Education, lenders, guarantors, and services dealing with financial aid.
Prepares eligibility and certification correspondence for the Department of Education.
Ensures prompt customer service and problem solving for students.

Education Experience Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field and one year experience in Title IV student assistance programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be knowledgeable about data processing and computer tracking systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to organize multiple tasks.
