Job Description:

This position reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid Services is responsible for assisting financial aid staff in the performance of their aid administration and compliance activities along with the overall operation of all financial aid computing and database systems. The Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations will plan for and ensure continued direction and support of centralized financial aid processing at Kutztown University utilizing the financialaid information system. This position will manage the central processing of financial aid including, but not limited to, download processing from the federal government, hardcopy and email follow-up communications to students generated from the financial aid information system, financial aid packaging, document management, automated verification of continued eligibility, and payment processes using the financial aid information system. This position will collaborate with staff that will assist in implementing and completing financial aid tasks on an ongoing basis. This position will lead continuous communications efforts integral to financial aid systems delivery and records maintenance to ensure all financial aid applications and students are effectively and efficiently processed. The position serves as expert in financial aid operations with particular emphasis on student information system, CRM, scholarship management software, and technology implementations, maintenance, and enhancements. This position collaborates with other technical staff at the University.

Qualification:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Required, Five to seven years of financial aid experience is required. Other relevant technology and/or higher education experience will be considered. Cultural competency as it relates to working with communities of color PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree Experience working with PeopleSoft, and Campus Logic and NextGen Scholarship Manager Fluency in Spanish at a native speaker level
