Job Description:

This position will be responsible for participating in the operation of the financial aid program of the College in compliance with state, institutional and private regulations, and policies. Duties may include but are not limited to interviewing and counseling current and prospective students and their families’ concerning applications, eligibility, and budget cost of education; interpret and explain state, institutional, and private regulations, requirements, and policies for scholarships, grants, and loans. Reviewing applications and required documentation to determine student eligibility for funds, package student aid, generate correspondence and balance funds received and disbursed to students. Entering and revising data in financial aid software database; reconcile data generated by online applications. Completing documents/information requests from outside agencies and other institutions. Assisting the Director of Financial Aid in conducting parent financial aid seminars and visit programs.

Qualification:

A high school diploma is required and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of three years’ financial, banking or office experience preferred. Computer experience with Microsoft products is required. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
