Associate Director of Financial Aid
Independently and collaboratively manage projects and programs as assigned by the Senior Director
Provide Financial Aid information through presentations (open houses, orientation programs, scholarship receptions, and other on and off campus College events)
Administer, monitor, and reconcile Institutional, Federal, and or State financial aid programs as assigned
Perform the packaging of financial aid applications for prospective and returning students (populations to be assigned by the Senior Director of Financial Aid), including performing verification, making professional judgment decisions, monitoring academic progress, determining eligibility based on needs analysis criteria, and making financial aid offers
Counsel prospective and current students/families on financial aid application procedures, available funding, financial management and budgeting practices
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for areas of responsibility
Work with various software and financial aid systems and applications (PowerFAIDS, Jenzabar, Slate, COD, NSLDS, PHEAA, ELM, EDconnect)
Represent the Senior Director of Financial Aid in the office, in meetings and in presentations as necessary
Assist the Senior Director in the mentoring and training of all Financial Aid Office staff members
Work closely with appropriate offices and departments on campus
Quality check financial aid files for compliance and accuracy
Support the College’s enrollment and retention goals
Remain current on financial aid policies and procedures
Back up other financial aid counselors as needed

Elizabethtown College
Bachelor’s degree is required; plus five years of progressive experience in financial aid; or equivalent combination of education and experience
