Assistant Director of Financial Aid
The Assistant Director of Financial Aid supervises the financial aid counseling and support staff and ensures that financial aid application data is recorded and reviewed efficiently and accurately. Provides counseling to approximately half of the University’s total student population including Traditional Undergraduate, ACCESS, Graduate and Health programs. Counseling is done by phone, walk-in, and direct or via electronic mail.
Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred Experience in financial aid profession required Public speaking skills preferred Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups Must possess excellent counseling skills Financial aid software experience required, Colleague preferred Willingness to work a flexible schedule for various student populations Familiarity with PHEAA state grant processing preferred Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
