Associate Director of Federal & Alternative Loans
This position is responsible for administering and overseeing all aspects of educational loan programs, including Direct Lending, Federal Perkins loan and Alternative loans. The Associate Director will coordinate all loan processing, including interfacing with Banner, COD, NSLDS, ELM One, CIS Scripts and Cognos reporting. They are also responsible for the coordination of entrance and exit interviews, and maintenance of automated loan processing, disbursement of loan funds, independent audit of output processes, development and maintenance of procedures for loan processing and staff training.
Shippensburg University
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of four years of progressive experience working in Financial Aid, three years of which should include hands on experience with Federal Loans, which included loan changes, fund reconciliation, COD processing and NSLDS reporting. In addition, strong technical skills, including the ability to extract and organize information, as well as strong organizational and time management skills and work independently are required. A Master’s Degree, background in Alternative Loan processing, as well as experience working with Banner and ELM One systems are preferred qualifications. Supervisory experience is also preferred. Successful performance in an on-campus interview is required.
